What Does a Junior Camp Counselor Do?

As a Junior Camp Counselor, you will help make camp a fun and safe environment for younger kids. Your days will be filled with various activities, games, and adventures, all while learning valuable skills. Here’s a little more about what you’ll do:

Assist the main camp counselors in running activities like arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor adventures.
Be a positive role model for campers aged 5 to 12 years.
Help supervise campers during activities and ensure their safety.
Encourage kids to make new friends and join in the fun.
Participate in camp team meetings and plan fun events.
Make sure everyone is having a great time!

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for enthusiastic teens who are:

At least 13 years old by the start of camp.
Responsible and reliable.
Open to learning new things and trying new activities.
Excited about working with younger children.

When and Where Will This Happen?

The camp runs from June 15 to August 14. You will need to be available from 9 AM to 4 PM during those weeks. The camp is located at Sunny Park, just a short bike ride from the town center.
